New support for park owners looking to succeed with Google
2010 sees the launch of a new one-day training course that has been developed especially for the park homes industry. Google is the search engine of choice for 7 out of 10 Internet users, so every park owner needs to ensure they are proactive about making the most of what it can offer. This new one-day course will enable delegates to develop the skills that are required to successfully implement and manage a Google advertising campaign.
‘Succeed with Google’ will teach delegates how to improve their website’s ranking by understanding; what it takes to create a Google friendly website, the important role of keywords, word placement and general content and how to run Google Adwords and Adsense campaign to any budget.
During the day delegates will also review case studies on how other companies have managed their Google campaigns and will build up the understanding of how to make quick and simple fixes to an existing website.
‘Succeed with Google’ is one of four new courses offering park owners and their teams the opportunity to update their skills on some of the more specialist areas of running a park. The other courses available include ‘Introduction to letting residential park homes’, ‘Safeguarding against employment tribunals’ and ‘Using IT to improve efficiency’. Each of these courses could be of great significance to small park operators looking for relevant and tangible continuing professional development.
The courses are being run by a new associate member of the BHHPA - Freedom Park Management, an organisation that has evolved out of a family business with a well respected and long standing reputation in the park homes industry.
The courses cost £70 per person fully inclusive of training materials, refreshments and lunch. They are being held at the Pathfinder show centre near Exeter and at the Tingdene show centre in Northampton. For more details and booking information visit our training section.
